Pieter Brueghel the Younger. The Procession to Calvary, 1602. Nostell Priory. ArtFunded 2010 © National Trust
This wooden puzzle has been created to celebrate the saving of Brueghel’s The Procession to Calvary. A late Renaissance masterpiece, the painting remains on public display in the UK thanks to a fundraising appeal by the Art Fund and the National Trust. The two charities raised £2.7 million to keep this important work of art at Nostell Priory in Yorkshire, where it has hung for over 200 years.
This wooden puzzle is finely cut using state-of-the-art lasers to create a premium-quality jigsaw that will be a treasured gift for years to come. To add to the challenge, none of its individually-cut wooden pieces are the same.
